Media Link Inc. is a strategic marketing solutions firm providing its customers with a creative, yet tactical approach to their individual marketing needs. We’ve been a part of the Quad Cities community for over 20 years, and we’re looking for a smart and talented person to join our team on a part-time basis, 15 to 25 hours per week.
The following skills are essential:
• Copywriting and editing skills
• Digital Media Research and Implementation
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization) & OPM (Online Presence Management)
• Communication Skills (Someone with phone presence, who can call and meet with Customers)
Qualifications: We’re looking for a highly-organized person who is proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and can work with PCs. We’ll need help with invoices, and someone who can interface with clients and vendors. Ideally we want someone who is excited to learn new things as well. We can train you in other areas of our business, including:
Media Link Software (MLS): This division of Media Link was founded more than a decade ago. When we couldn’t find the perfect media planning and buying software for Media Link. So, we worked with developers to invent our own software and license it to other media buyers throughout the Country.
QC PastPort: This division of Media Link is a passion project celebrating and preserving local history in an entertaining and informative fashion. We put up physical signs at historical destinations around the Quad Cities, where people can read about history, then use their phone to learn more, see historical photos, and listen to audio re-enactments from the very spot where they’re standing.
Hours and Compensation: This is a part-time, hourly position – ideal for someone who wants to supplement income from freelance work or for someone who has family or other commitments. Hours are flexible, as long as you pick hours within the standard 9 am to 5 pm business hours.
- $16.00 per hour with commission -OR- $18.00 per hour without commission,
plus a gas stipend.
- IRA with matching is available to part time employees who’ve been with us
for 750 hours
